The Beats Studio Buds+ were officially launched earlier this morning as a pair of TWS that have spatial audio support, see-through mode and enhanced ANC and a model with a transparent design. Clearly on their latest TWS Beats took inspiration from Nothing Ear (1) which is one of the most attractively designed earphones on the market.
This time the Beats Studio Buds+ are equipped with two bud-type earphones that have silicone tips. There's no word on the size of the audio drivers, but Beats says the air vent design is updated from the original Studio Buds. It still supports Apple and Android devices with an Apple H1 chip for better bluetooth 5.3 tethering. If lost, Studio Buds+ can be tracked using Apple Find My.
Noise canceling performance (ANC) increases up to 1.6 times and penetration mode up to 2 times. The microphone is three times larger to support better ANC and clearer phone calls. Spatial audio support is also included. Only SBC and AAC codecs are supported on this TWS. For those who like sports, the audio buds pass the IPX4 standard.
The battery can last for 9 hours and increases to 36 with the help of the charging pod. Recharging is through the USB-C charging port. In Malaysia, Beats Studio Buds+ are sold at a price of RM699 each. The original Studio Buds are also still sold at a price of RM649 each.
