According to the census data shared by the Pew Research Center, it is now found that active and hardcore Twitter users are less and less sharing and publishing content on the platform, compared to before Elon Musk's takeover.
It is estimated that hardcore user shares have decreased by an average of around 25% since the takeover. The same census also showed a number of users saying they would not be using Twitter in about a year.
This at the same time shows the challenges that will be faced by the new CEO of Twitter in maintaining and increasing the number of users, while at the same time increasing the income of the social media company.
