Many Malaysians are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Coldplay band who will hold a concert in Malaysia this November. Recently, there is quite interesting news about the band and also the IT world.
Recently, the lyrics to one of their popular songs have been found in one of the firmware files for one of their SSD storage products, the Kingston KC2000. Bleeping Computer reports that one of the data researchers found the lyrics in a .bin file contained in a firmware file downloaded from Kingston's own website.
The lyrics contained in the file are part of the lyrics of the song The Scientist from the album A Rush of Blood To The Head, and are shown when the file is scanned. This firmware is also reported to have been launched in 2020, so it is not something new, but only recently discovered.
So far, it is not yet known why the storage engineer and programmer uploaded the file with the lyrics of this Coldplay song, but it is quite an interesting surprise considering that the band has just announced their concert schedule, where Kuala Lumpur is one of their concert locations.
