Being positive for HIV/AIDS does not mean giving up hope, nor is it the end for that group. Although there are still treatments and therapies offered to improve the quality of life of these patients. For example, such as the Virtual HIV clinic service that has just been launched in collaboration with the Malaysian AIDS Council (MAC) and the local online platform DOC2US.
This service is provided to help the PLHIV (People Living with HIV) group or HIV patients who are reported to receive medical consultation on matters related to HIV and sexually transmitted diseases (STD). It is provided free of charge and consultations are through licensed doctors and board approved by DOC2US. In addition, it also makes it easier for patients to get self-test kits and receive digital prescriptions for medicines directly.
This service can be accessed through the DOC2US application which can be downloaded through the Google Play Store, App Store, Huawei App Gallery as well as the official website for desktop. Operating hours are every Wednesday, from 1 to 5 pm.
