Google Announces AI Support For Writing Emails On Gmail

Google today kicked off its Google I/O event with a focus on artificial intelligence. Starting the keynote, Google CEO Sundar Pichai shared one of the new features coming to GMail soon, called "Help Me Write".

Through this feature on GMail, it will help users in writing emails and sending them. Help Me Write can also control the tone according to what the user wants.

In the example shown, GMail Help Me Write is used to write an email to request a refund from a flight. Google says it will use data from previous emails, and include that info in written emails – including all the necessary context.

Google says this feature will be introduced to GMail soon.
