Google Pixel 7a Launched With Tensor G2 Chip And 64MP Camera


 The Google Pixel 7a was announced this morning with it being a more affordable Pixel device than the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro launched last year. Although cheaper, it uses the same Tensor 2 chip as the previous two devices.



The device is equipped with a 6.1″ AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz screen, powered by a Tensor G2 chip, and a battery that supports 18W charging. 8GB RAM memory, only 128GB UFS 3.1 storage and 4300 mAh battery capacity that supports wired and wireless charging. This phone also has IP67 waterproof capabilities.



The main camera consists of a 64MP wide-angle lens and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front there is a 13MP camera. The main camera sensor is now 72% larger than the one used on the Pixel 6a. In terms of software support, it will receive updates for up to five years.



The device also has wireless charging support which was not offered on last year's Pixel 6a. The selling price of the Google Pixel 7a is $499 (~RM2224) apiece.
