Bard is Google's artificial intelligence service as a competitor to ChatGPT by OpenAI. Bard is also a chatbot that can answer questions, as well as perform many tasks such as creating a draft of a document, writing code in 20 programming languages, giving suggestions and more.
Bard is still in the testing stage. But Google has done a number of things including restructuring the Google Assistant team to make Bard a success. Recently 9to5Google found evidence that Google may be integrating Bard into Android devices.
The lucky device has to be the Google Pixel. Bard usage on Pixel devices is via a widget on the home screen. But it is still uncertain if Bard will be integrated in Google applications such as Google Assistant or there will be a separate application.
Sources claim that they believe Bard on the Pixel won't just offer functionality like a single button to use. On the other hand, Bard can also suggest prompts and open certain applications when directed.
Since Bard was introduced to the public, Google has been working to bring their artificial intelligence services including other products under LaMDA to users. For example Searchalong chatbot on Chrome, Magi as a more personalized search engine, reply to Google Messages with Bard and many more.
For now Bard is still not accessible to all and based on my own experience ChatGPT and Bing are still faster and more useful.
