HTC has not been fierce in the smartphone world for a long time. They were once in the top but now they are no longer in the top five manufacturers list. However, yesterday HTC announced the launch of a new device from the U series with Viverse support.
The use of the U series name is often applied to devices from the flagship class. With the Viverse logo on the poster it's obvious that this device supports their Vive virtual reality technology. There is no information on the specifications, design or when the device will be launched at this time.
Since withdrawing from various global markets, HTC has only marketed their devices in limited numbers. The focus has been on mid-range devices only lately with the gamble of producing devices for crypto not really paying off.
