It has been quiet for a long time and now there is a new development about Huawei believed to be releasing a new Kirin A2 chip according to a Huawei Central report. This is the second chip in the Kirin A family created specifically for wearable devices. For the record, Huawei has previously been present with a Kirin A1 chip that supports both bluetooth 5.1 and BLE 5.1 protocols simultaneously.
The same source said, the Kirin A2 chip is currently in the experimental stage and is expected to have a large production capacity. According to initial expectations, it may be introduced around the third or fourth quarter.
But there is a possibility or probability, it is not impossible that Huawei will change its plans in the final production stage. Next, there may also be changes in specifications when the chip is launched later.
Specific details about the chip have also not been revealed for now, but it is expected to be the mainstay of Huawei's upcoming line of wearables.
