IKEA Malaysia has now started to integrate the use of electric vehicles in delivery. The first electric vehicle will now start serving deliveries around Petaling from IKEA Damansara.
IKEA uses an electric van for this purpose, under the model EC35-DFSK. This is seen as IKEA's first step in making their operations more environmentally friendly and using sustainable energy.
With the introduction of this first electric vehicle, IKEA Malaysia is expected to begin expanding the use and integration of electric cars for deliveries little by little in the coming years. IKEA Malaysia aims to use electric vehicles for delivery entirely by 2030.
