iPhone Satellite Communications Feature Now Available In Australia And New Zealand

 


The satellite communication feature on iPhone in emergency situations is now enabled for users in Australia and New Zealand. It is supported on iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max phones in the two countries with it being free for two years starting yesterday.



In addition to these two countries, this feature can also be used in Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, the UK and the United States. it enables emergency SMS messages to be sent to emergency teams complete with the user's last GPS location. Since its introduction at the end of last year, this feature has been successfully used to save several users.
