LG UltraGear is a series of gaming products under LG that focuses on gaming products such as monitors. They recently announced the LG UltraGear 49″ which uses a 32:9 ultra-wide screen, with DQHD resolution (5120 x 1440) and supports a 240Hz refresh rate.
According to LG, using this monitor is like two 16:9 monitors side by side. The screen also has a curve at a rate of 1000R, supports VESA Display HDR 1000, brightness reaches 1000 nits and promises bright and beautiful colors.
LG UltraGear 49″ comes with a 1ms lag time, 2x HDMI 2.1 connection ports, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x USB-A 3.0 upstream and 2x downstream and a 4-pole DTS HP:X audio jack port. This monitor is a competitor to the Samsung Odyssey G9 which was launched two years ago with a price of RM2399.
This monitor is already on sale in the United States for $1299.99 (~RM5790) with plans to launch in Asian countries this year.
