After CIMB's period of days, now Maybank also informs users that they will stop supporting Touch 'n Go top-up through ATMs. Maybank said the feature will be discontinued on their ATMs effective May 13, 2023.
With this move, two major banks have stopped the Touch 'n Go card top-up feature through ATMs, and it is not impossible that other banks will also implement it. The reason behind this termination has not been disclosed by any bank at this time.
Alternatively, users can still top up Touch 'n Go through TNG kiosks, other than at gas stations, or use NFC cards and top up via smartphone.
