MEASAT Offers Free Satellite Internet Connection at Malaysian Armed Forces Control Posts

 


MEASAT, the national satellite company behind satellite telecommunications company CONNECTme NOW has recently announced that they will provide satellite broadband internet services for the frontline of the Malaysian Armed Forces at selected remote border control posts across the country.



"We very much welcome the contribution from MEASAT, especially the efforts that can preserve the welfare and well-being of ATM members during their duty at remote border posts. The ATM also welcomes the efforts of the private sector in Malaysia who contribute their expertise, especially creating initiatives that appreciate the services and sacrifices of members of the security forces who are tasked with protecting the nation's sovereignty." said General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Hj. Affendi Bin Buang RMAF, Commander of the Malaysian Armed Forces.


This program is a CSR program for Measat and CONNECTme NOW and is one of the efforts to achieve 100 percent internet connection access in Malaysia by 2025.
