MediaTek Dimensity 7050 Launched – Chip With 6nm Technology And 200MP Camera

 

Quietly, MediaTek now comes with another new processing chip through the Dimensity 7050. It is basically a rebrand for the Dimensity 1080 with technology and specifications that look largely the same.

Through it it is produced with 6nm technology, in addition to maintaining the configuration of two Cortex-78 cores at 2.6GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. This is paired with an Arm Mali-G6 GPU, LPDDR5-based memory and UFS3.1 storage. The AI processing unit 3.0 (APU 3.0) artificial intelligence system is also included on this chip.

Then the screen resolution is FHD with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, while also supporting a camera system up to 200MP and video recording up to 4K @ 30FPS. Other specifications include 5G Sub-6Ghz network, WiFi 6, GNSS and bluetooth 5.2. Realme is expected to be among the first to use this chip in their new devices.
