Mobvoi is one of the brands that produces quite good Wear OS smartwatches. Affordable price, great specifications and offers interesting features and functions that are rarely offered by competitors.
Their three watches launched from 2020 to 2022, namely TicWatch Pro 3, TicWatch E3 and TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra are powered by a Snapdragon Wear 4100 powerful processing chip. It is quite up-to-date and confirmed to support the Wear OS 3 update used on the Galaxy Watch4/Watch5, watch- Fossil watch and Pixel Watch.
But Wear OS 3 has been launched since 2021 with the promise of updates arriving in the middle of 2022. Now it's been almost a year without any updates being distributed to these three watches. Not only are Wear OS updates not being received, security updates are not being distributed either.
Mobvoi once again issued a statement recently through their Twitter. TicWatch Pro 3, TicWatch E3 and TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra are still confirmed to receive the Wear OS 3 update. It's just that with the combination of Snapdragon Wear 4100 and Mobvo's own technology, Wear OS 3 is still not ready to run. Don't worry because it is still in development and the beta test will be able to be tested later.
