Nokia seems to want to continue the legacy of the durability of their phones, through the latest phone called the Nokia XR21. For now, it is only introduced in the UK, and it is not known when it will be marketed in other countries.
The Nokia XR21 focuses on durability and the ability to use it during tasks or strenuous activities.
It comes with MIL-STD-810H durability certification, as well as IP69K waterproof and dustproof support – which offers protection from high water pressure.
In terms of specifications, the Nokia XR21 comes with a 6.49-inch LCD screen that also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, equipped with a Snapdragon 695 5G chip, up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
It comes with a 64-megapixel main camera on the back which is also equipped with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfie recording, it includes a 16-megapixel camera.
Completing this phone is also a 4800mAh battery with 33W charging. The Nokia XR21 also comes with NFC support, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack.
On the software side, the Nokia XR21 uses Android 12, and HMD promises three main operating system updates for this phone model.
For now, it is not known yet when this device will enter the local market. In the UK, the Nokia XR21 is listed at £499.00, which is around RM2,700.
