OPPO Delists Their Products In Germany Due To Dispute With Nokia

Last weekend, OPPO reportedly delisted all their products in Germany, including OPPO and OnePlus devices.

On the German OPPO website, no direct OPPO products are shown, including devices such as the Oppo Reno 8 and the OPPO Find N2 Flip. Despite that, they say that existing devices can still be used, and will receive updates as they say.

This is seen to happen because last year, a German court blocked the sale of the devices in the country because OPPO failed to pay Nokia to use their 5G technology patents.

The sale of the device has been halted since the court announced the decision, but OPPO seems determined to just exit the country's market. This can be seen as another big blow for the smart device maker from China, after the announcement that they have closed the division that developed their MariSilicon chips.
