Among the products that will be introduced by Acer during the COMPUTEX Taipei event that will take place next week is one of their premium gaming laptops, the Predator Triton 16.
This gaming laptop comes with a 16-inch framed IPS screen display at a resolution of 2560×1600 with a refresh rate of 240Hz and a brightness value of 500 nits. It is also capable of processing 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC display technology that promises a smooth gaming experience and no screen tracking issues.
In terms of components, the Predator Triton 16 comes with a choice of 13th generation Intel processing chips up to the choice of Intel Core i9 which can be overclocked to 5.4GHz, with 32GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage in a RAID-0 configuration.
The Predator Triton 16 also comes with a graphics card option up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 which is powerful enough to run any modern game at 1440p resolution at refresh rates and high settings.
If you need a laptop with many plugs, this Predator Triton 16 also comes with options such as two USB 3.2 Type-A plugs, one Thunderbolt 4 plug that can be used to charge the laptop's battery, one HDMI 2.1 plug that supports output to 4K resolution screen display and MicroSD card reader. It also has support for fast WiFi 6E wireless internet connection.
Inside this 19.9mm sized frame is a Vortex Flow cooling system that uses the 5th generation Aeroblade 3D cooling fan and also a metal liquid that helps in flowing heat from the component parts to the cooling system more efficiently.
The Predator Triton 16 will be previewed at the COMPUTEX Taipei event next week, and will launch in select markets in September at a starting price tag of $1799.99.
