Samsung has now announced that they have met with Tesla – including Elon Musk to discuss potential collaboration in the development of advanced automotive technology. These discussions may be at an early stage, but this partnership shows Samsung's investment and focus in the automotive arena.
The two parties are said to have the potential to collaborate on a number of matters involving automotive, including the development of chips for autonomous and self-driving vehicles. In fact, with the various chips that are now included in vehicles, various automotive companies are also collaborating with semiconductor companies for the production of chips.
For now, it is not shared specifically what the collaboration will be done by Samsung and Tesla. During Samsung's work visit to the United States, they also met with other technology companies, including Microsoft and Google.
