Samsung Malaysia does not currently plan to support GeForce Now on their Smart TVs

The new Samsung Neo QLED 8K and Neo QLED 4K smart TVs are finally launched in Malaysia today. Among the interesting features that this TV series can do is the ability to support consoles and PCs for high action video games. However, the Samsung Gaming Hub feature that is offered on the same model overseas is not found on the launched model.

A Samsung Malaysia representative when asked about the absence of Gaming Hub replied at this time that they do not plan to support it in the near future. It will probably only be included when more video game streaming services are offered in Malaysia.

Samsung's new smart TVs, however, support a Game Bar that allows TV settings such as HDR, VRR, ALLM, and screen ratio to be changed quickly during a video game session.

Previously, NVIDIA GeForce Now could already be used by Yes 5G customers in Malaysia. GeForce Now was among the first services supported by Gaming Hub when it launched last year. For gamers who have access to GeForce Now and subscribe to Yes 5G, the wait to stream video games on Samsung's latest smart TV is far from over.
