Selected WhatsApp Web Users Can Now Edit Sent Messages

Wrongly sending messages, incompletely typed information and spelling mistakes (typo) that can cause big problems are among the situations that are familiar to users of messaging applications such as WhatsApp for example. Furthermore, if the information to be conveyed needs to be sent immediately. It must be a relief to be able to re-edit the sent message without having to delete it, right?

It can now only be done when WhatsApp now allows its users to edit messages that have been sent. This feature is called Edit Message which was initially in the testing stage but is now being offered on a limited basis through the web version. It will also be extended to more users in the coming weeks.

This feature can be found when the user opens the menu option on the sent chat text. It can be found through private or group chat rooms. When it is selected, the user will be given 15 minutes to edit the text of the same chat multiple times.

Even so, the user is only allowed to make edits for some text and not the whole. It will also be improved from time to time before it is officially distributed to all users.
