Sony Xperia 1 V Now Official With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 And Exmor T Mobile 52MP Camera

Today Sony has launched their new flagship device which is the Xperia 1 V. As usual this device will focus on performance and photography but this time Sony claims the camera technology used is for a new era.

This device comes with a 6.5″ OLED screen with 4K resolution with a 21:9 ratio and supports a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR display. Sony also uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for better protection. The Xperia 1 V is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage with micro SD card support.

For the main focus camera Sony uses a new Exmor T sensor that uses stacked sensor technology for better image quality in low light. The main sensor of this camera is 52MP f/1.9 + 12MP f/2.3-f/2.8 telephoto + 12MP 16mm ultra wide angle. This time there is no ToF sensor as Sony will rely on software only such as S-Cinetone and AI Depth for additional details. The selfie camera is also 12MP placed on the forehead of the screen.

Sony also offers new Photo Pro and Video Pro applications that now focus on a vertical interface instead of a horizontal one. For audio, the stereo speaker comes with a guarantee that it is louder and has deep bass. A 3.5mm audio jack port is also included as a bonus.

The device's battery is 5000mAh with 30W fast charging and also supports wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. The device also has a cooling system using 60% larger heat dissipation sheets. Also don't forget that IP65/68 protection is still maintained.
