Sony has today introduced the flagship smartphone for 2023, the Xperia 1 V. In line with the announcement, Sony Malaysia is now moving fast and has also confirmed that the phone will be available in the local market in July.
Sony Xperia 1 V comes with a 6.5-inch screen that offers a display at a resolution of up to 4K, and is equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering this phone is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Like various Sony phones, it also comes with waterproof and dustproof support.
On the camera side, the Sony Xperia 1 V includes a 52-megapixel main sensor and is equipped with a 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP telephoto sensor. On the selfie side, it uses a 12MP sensor in front. The Xperia 1 V uses a 5000mAh battery that is charged using a USB-C cable.
In Malaysia, only one model will be offered, the Xperia 1 V with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. This phone will be sold at a price of RM6399. For now, the promotion for early purchase is still unknown.
