Elon Musk today shared that users will soon be able to make voice calls and video calls, directly through Twitter. With this move, it is expected to give users more privacy and not have to share their personal phone numbers.
This step is seen in an effort to make Twitter an application that includes various things. Under Elon Musk, Twitter is ready to introduce a form of subscription, including a specific subscription for each user account on a paid basis, in addition to adding the ability to share long Tweets.
Twitter has also added a messaging feature with full encryption support today, thus preventing other parties from stealing and reading sent messages or DMs.
For the time being, it has not been shared yet regarding the introduction date of the voice and video calling feature on Twitter.
