The MACC website now has a section that displays the timeline of cases under investigation

Corruption is a serious crime that tarnishes the reputation of a country. According to Transparency International's latest corruption chart, Malaysia is ranked 62 out of 180 countries in the world in 2022. It is clear that a lot of effort needs to be done to clean the country's image from the filth of corruption. The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has updated their old one with a new section that displays a timeline of cases being investigated.

Through this section MACC hopes that it will display the transparency of their investigation of previously reported cases and allow the public to see the status of cases. According to the MACC, they will provide as much information as can be reported without interfering with the ongoing investigation, affecting the accused's right to a fair trial, or causing reputational damage, or harm to the individual or organization being investigated.

The MACC case timeline section can be accessed by the public through the MACC official website today.
