Elon Musk announced that he has finally succeeded in finding the new CEO of Twitter and she is a woman. But according to the Wall Street Journal, Linda Yaccarino, who currently holds the position of head of advertising and partnerships at NBCUniversal. Musk said that after no longer holding the position of CEO, he will hold the position of chairman and CTO.
Musk previously used a poll on Twitter to gather users' opinions on whether he should step down as CEO. A total of 57.5% voted for him to resign as CEO. Under his management, Twitter made many drastic changes, not all of which were popular with users.
Advertising revenue has also fallen sharply and if Yaccarino is the new CEO of Twitter, his expertise will be needed to boost the company's revenue again.
