Finally after two years Disney+ Hotstar was launched in Malaysia Samsung TV users can now download this Disney video streaming application. Most Samsung smart televisions running Tizen OS are seen to have been able to download this application since yesterday.
This coincides with the introduction of a new Disney+ Hotstar interface update that is similar to the original Disney+. Starting yesterday web and iOS users started receiving this update and soon after many Samsung TV users were finally able to enjoy this streaming service.
Previously it was only offered to web users, Android TV, Apple TV, webOS, Android, iOS and some selected TVs. Samsung users have to change the television's country settings which is quite a pain.
This new Disney+ Hotstar update also comes with a feature to lock adult content. The subscription price is still the same which is RM54.90 for 3 months.
