WhatsApp already offers payment features in India and Brazil before. Now, the same feature is also extended to users in Singapore. With this offer step, users in Singapore can make payments to businesses in Singapore, directly through the WhatsApp application.
WhatsApp works with Stripe for this purpose. Users in Singapore can now link credit cards, debit cards and even the Singapore PayNow system to WhatsApp. This payment feature also allows users to make payments without leaving the popular messaging application.
For now, it is not yet known when the same feature will be extended to the Malaysian market.
