WhatsApp today introduced a new feature widely, named as Chat Lock. Through it, users can put a password on a conversation, thus preventing the conversation from being accessed or seen by others.
With this step, your private conversation is placed behind another layer of security and only you can access it through a password or a biometric scan such as a fingerprint. In addition to accessing the conversation, any content received from the conversation will also be hidden in the notification section.
To activate this Chat Lock feature, you only need to tap on any conversation - individual or group, and then select "Screen Lock" or "Chat Lock", and activate the "Lock this chat" feature. It will then include the conversation in a special folder on the main page under "Locked Chats".
