WhatsApp is now seen to be developing a new feature called Channels. For those of you who already use the Telegram application, you may already recognize the feature with the same name on the Telegram messaging application.
Through the WhatsApp Channel, it is expected to offer the same features as the Telegram Channel - where sharing is sent to the recipient one-way only. This will be very useful for owners of channels such as news, communities and so on, allowing updates to be shared without having to worry about being bombarded with reply messages from other users.
Interestingly, with this feature, the data of the followers of a channel will not be exposed - at the same time making it easier to follow updates on something and at the same time protect each other's privacy.
For now, it is not yet known when the WhatsApp Channel feature will be widely introduced.
