A More Premium Google Chromebook X Is In Development

The Google Chromebook series was initially launched as a low-powered laptop for school use. It operates using various Google software and therefore high processing power is not required. But now more powerful Chromebooks are starting to be offered. But now in the latest code, Google is seen planning to offer the Chromebook X as well.

The Chromebook X is a more premium series of laptops and tablets. It has more minimum specifications such as using an AMD Zen 2+ chip, AMD Zen 3 and two Intel Core Gen 12 chips. In addition, it needs to be equipped with a better camera system because the Chromebook X is designed specifically for good teleconferencing performance. It can also support Live Transcribe feature which shows subtitles in real time.

According to 9to5 Google, the price of the Chromebook X will be between $350-$500 apiece. It is most likely to be launched by the end of 2023.
