The Acer Aspire Vero series is one of Acer's laptop models that uses Post Consumer Recyclable (PCR) plastic as a construction material for their laptop frames.
Acer Malaysia has today introduced an update to their Acer Aspire Vero 14, which now features 40 percent PCR plastic in their laptop construction, compared to 30 percent on the previous model.
This includes the use of Ocean Bound Plastic (OBP) for the laptop's OceanPad touch pad, which allows Acer to reduce the production of carbon dioxide gas by 30 percent during the construction of the laptop's frame. The frame of this laptop also does not use any paint which allows Acer to reduce pollution from the molecules needed to color the laptop.
In terms of specifications, this laptop is loaded with a 14-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution and powered by a choice of 13th generation Intel Core i7 processing chips, 8GB or 16GB LPDDR5 memory and also 512GB PCIe SSD storage.
As a productivity laptop, the Acer Aspire Vero 14 is also loaded with Microsoft Office 2021 Home and Student Edition productivity software for free.
In the meantime, Acer also introduced the Trade-in and Go Green program which allows you to trade in your old computers for a RM500 cash rebate which allows you to buy an Acer Aspire Vero 14 laptop at a cheaper price.
Acer Aspire Vero 14 is now offered at a starting price of RM2599 and can be purchased through Acer eStore and also on Shopee and Lazada. It is also available through Acer Malaysia's official distributor stores.
