Smart watches can not only provide important notifications, and control various devices owned by users. It now comes with various body health detection sensors. Today Samsung announced that the irregular heartbeat notification feature will be added to some Galaxy Watch models this year.
It will arrive first on the Galaxy Watch6 series which will be launched along with the Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 series at the end of July. Later it will be given to some Galax Watch models that receive One UI Watch 5 based on Wear OS 4. This irregular pulse detection warns the wearer may have atrial fibrillation (AFib) heart issues.
Previously, the Galaxy Watch series was given the feature of detecting blood pressure and ECG, both of which can already be used in Malaysia. At the initial stage, the AFib warning feature is only supported in 13 countries, namely the United States, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Georgia, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Panama, UAE, and Korea.
