AirPods Now Support Audio Adaptive Mode

No new AirPods Max were announced like some rumors heard before. But what was announced at WWDC this morning is a new mode that allows the AirPods Pro to operate better for its owners.

Adaptive Audio is a pass-through mode that intelligently differentiates the voice of the person who wants to have a conversation with the AirPods Pro wearer and the surrounding noise. With this noise cancellation can still be used without making the conversation with the surrounding people obstructed. For users of Sony audio products, this is the same feature already supported on products like the WH-1000XM5.

This mode also according to Apple can filter the surrounding audio noise when making a voice call or FaceTime. But if the surrounding audio is still too noisy, AirPods Pro users can press down on the earbuds to mute the microphone. All of these new features can be accessed through the audio menu directly from various devices in the Apple ecosystem.
