Amazfit Cheetah And Cheetah Pro Launched With A Focus On Running Sports

Amazfit now has two options of marine wearables under the Cheetah branding. With a focus on performance, it is specially designed for both beginners and professional runners, as well as providing many health benefits.

Starting with the Amazfit Cheetah Pro uses a round home screen along with two physical buttons on the right side. The frame is made of durable titanium alloy, while the central frame uses carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite material to make it lighter.

The screen is a type of AMOLED with a resolution of 480X480 pixels with a size of 1.45″ and a peak brightness of 1000nits. Meanwhile, the two built-in physical buttons can be used for various controls on the watch. It is even more interesting when there is a Zepp Coach feature equipped Chatbox with Large Language Model technology that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to recognize language. Then give the answer in a clearer context. However, it is still in the short demo stage, before being made available as a subscription in some selected markets.

Other key features that are also in focus include Virtual Pacer, Race Achievement Prediction and Track Run Mode. Users can use all these features to be able to run well, while staying fit. Next, this watch also includes accurate GPS capabilities through built-in L1 + L5 GPS support.

The rest of the standard health and fitness features are also provided. It includes heart rate monitoring, sleep pattern monitoring, SpO2, daily pressure and over 150 built-in sports modes. The 440mAh battery used can offer a maximum durability of up to 14 days of use. It also passes the 5ATM waterproof rating, while also having bluetooth for bluetooth calling purposes.

Moving on to the Amazfit Cheetah (Round), most of the internal hardware is the same as the Pro variant. But the support of the 1.39″ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 545 X 454 pixels starts to show a significant difference, which is smaller than the pro version. Furthermore the watch also lacks a built-in microphone and speaker which necessarily does not support bluetooth calls. Meanwhile, built-in WiFi support is also not provided.

As for the selling price, the Cheetah Pro is sold at $300 (~RM1394) while the Cheetah (Round) is priced at $230 (~RM1,069) There is no information about its availability in Malaysia at this time.
