The Android operating system is already famous for giving users the freedom to customize various aspects of its interface. But after Apple introduced better features on iOS, Android devices began to offer more deep device customization capabilities.
Google has recently distributed the Android 14 beta 3 update which is close to the stable phase. In this update it brings the feature of personalizing the lock screen as in iOS. Here is a list of options that can be done on Android 14 Beta 3 devices;
9 different typeface options.
9 colors or dynamic colors of Material You for typefaces.
Change the typeface size.
Add or change quick access icons;
Finally change the lock screen background picture.
This feature is currently limited to select Google Pixel devices only. But when Android 14 stable arrives for other Android devices, more or less the same features will usually be offered by the device manufacturer. OneUI, Oxygen OS, ColorOS and a few others that use the Material You theme system.
