Apple today also took the opportunity to introduce their latest chip, the Apple M2 Ultra. it roughly combines two Apple M2 Max chips, making the Apple M2 Ultra Apple's most powerful chip yet.
The Apple M2 Ultra offers 24-core processing power, and comes with support for up to 76-core GPUs. It simultaneously offers 20% faster CPU processing power than before, in addition to 30% faster GPU support.
With this latest chip based on 5-nanometer technology, it also supports memory up to 192GB.
This high processing power also allows for better video editing, animation, and 3D effects. Apple includes a dedicated media engine in making video processing faster.
Several Apple computers using this chip were also announced based on this chip at the WWDC event, including the MacStudio and MacPro.
