Mac Studio is a desktop computer that tries to be powerful. At WWDC this morning, new Mac Studio models were also announced with Apple's M2 Ultra and M2 Max chips. With the use of the M2 Ultra, Mac Studio has up to 2x the performance of the M2 Max. The M2 Ultra chip comes with a 24-core CPU and a 76-core GPU.
The memory offer is extreme up to 192GB RAM and storage up to 8TB. Each of these new Studio Macs can also support connection to 8K monitors or up to 6 Pro Display XDR monitors each supporting 6K resolution.
There are various I/O such as Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, 3.5mm audio jack, SDX memory card reader, 2x USB-A and also 10GB LAN. All these components are included in a frame that is still the same size as the previous Mac Studio.
The sale price of the new Mac Studio starts from RM9,499 or RM8,549 for students.
