Final Cut Pro Can Be Used On Apple Vision Pro On Launch Day

Apple Vision Pro is an augmented reality headset that will be sold at a price of up to RM16,000. This headset runs a new operating system called visionOS. It's as if iOS, macOS and iPadOS are combined into one operating system specifically for AR devices.

With Vision Pro being seen as focused on productivity and for professional users, Final Cut Pro video editing software can be used on the first day the product goes on sale. This is according to a tweet sent by Matti Haapoja, a YouTuber who tested the Vision Pro at WWDC two days ago.

He said editing can be done with eye control and gestures alone. This is a new editing system as previously FCP required a mouse, touchpad or touch. There are no FCP screenshots in Vision Pro so the interface to be used is still a mystery.

Final Cut Pro which has been limited to Mac devices has also been introduced for iPad users. Not only that, there is a good chance that the version for visionOS will be the same as iPadOS because this new operating system supports apps for iPad and iPhone.

In addition to Final Cut Pro, Disney+ is also confirmed to be present on the launch day of Apple Vision One in early 2024.
