FlyFM Becomes The First Radio Station In Malaysia To Use AI As A Radio Announcer

Named Aina, FlyFM says it is the first artificial intelligence-based radio announcer in Malaysia. Through the use made since 2 pm today at the radio station, it shows the use of a smooth voice, and can respond quickly to callers.

For now, FlyFM does not say what the technology behind it is. There are several technology offerings that offer artificial intelligence solutions for radio announcers, including one of the most popular and widely talked about GPT-4 based RadioGPT. Recently, there was one of the radio stations in the United States that also used the technology in the live broadcast of the radio station, and claimed that they were the first in the world to do so. This broadcast was done a few days ago, and if they are the first as claimed, then the implementation by FlyFM in Malaysia can also be said to be one of the first in the world.

Could it be that with this move, we will see more tests of the integration of artificial intelligence in various tasks and daily work that are currently managed by humans?
