Google Chrome For iOS Supports Translation, Google Maps Mini And Google Lens

Although Safari is the default web browser on iOS, many people install Chrome because it is more in line with the features offered on PC. The latest Google Chrome for iOS has some updates that make it more attractive than Safari.

First, when an address on a website is clicked in Chrome, a small Google Maps map will be displayed to show the location. This means you no longer have to go to another tab to enter an address into Google Maps.

Second, when a date is pressed in Chrome, the Add to Google Calendar option will appear to include it in your personal calendar.

The third feature is that websites with foreign languages can now be translated easily and quickly. Chrome will not translate the entire web page instead the user can select a sentence that is not understood and directly press Google Translate. Like Maps and Calendar earlier, not everything happens from within the web browser only.

Last but not least is Google Lens which is finally built directly into the Chrome application. So far iOS users who want to scan a QR code have to use the camera application. Now everything can be done directly from within Chrome. All these features make me want to use Chrome more than Safari on my iOS device. How about you?
