Google Pixel Watch users are reporting the issue of the back panel of the smartwatch randomly coming off. In a photo that went viral on Twitter this week, the panel covering the pulse charging sensor and blood oxygen concentration allegedly came off while the wearer was exercising.
Google confirmed this issue only affects a small portion of the Pixel Watch that has been sold. They are working to identify the cause and resolve the issue as soon as possible. A number of users complained that Google fixed the problem for free but later refunded the original one-year warranty.
First generation products often have various issues. The Apple Watch for example had the clock bubbling randomly issue last year. This is a challenge that has to be faced for those who want to try the first generation product.
