The Apple Vision Pro will go on sale in the United States early next year. This premium headset will then be introduced to other markets in stages. One market the Vision Pro may not be in is China because its trademark is held by Huawei.
Huawei filed for the Vision Pro trademark in May 2019. Huawei previously offered the Vision series smart TVs and Vision Glass virtual reality glasses in China. Vision Pro may be filed for their premium smart televisions or premium smart glasses which are yet to be launched as of now.
If Apple wants to sell Vision Pro in China, the use of the name will have to do. With Apple having a vision of the headset being the successor to the iPhone in the future, a product name that could be used around the world had to be found.
