Infrastructure : Putrajaya Line MRT Computer System Disruption Does Not Affect Operations – Only On Email, Internet And TNG Value-Added Services

RapidKL has previously stated that their system was disrupted due to ransomware or ransomware. Today, Prasarana shared more about this matter to us.

According to Prasarana, this network problem was detected during a routine inspection before, and has affected several network components, including access to email, internet, and also the Touch n Go value-added service.

It is emphasized that this problem does not affect the operation and safety integrity of the MRT Putrajaya Line. The MRT system has been designed so that each one is independent, so that if there is any disruption to one of the systems, all other systems will be completely isolated to avoid any impact.

Due to this disruption, any Touch 'n Go transactions at counters and ticket vending machines at Putrajaya Line MRT stations cannot be done. Alternatively, users are asked to make transactions at any LRT station, MRT Kajang Line, and KL Monorail.
