The Insta360 GO 3 was launched today as the world's smallest action camera at just 35 grams. This camera can record video up to 2.7K 30FPs setting through the f/2.2 lens. No information was shared about the size of the camera sensor used.
With the new model, the recording duration increases up to 45% which is 50% longer than the GO 2. Also with the help of the Action Pod, the video recording duration increases to 170 minutes using an additional battery pack. This Action Pod is also equipped with a touch LCD screen that can display what is being recorded directly when the GO 3 is installed or remotely.
Like other Insta360 cameras there is a FlowState video stabilization system and a recording mode that locks the horizon position even when the camera rotates 360 degrees. Recording can be done by pressing a button on the camera or through voice control.
Because of its compact size, GO 3 can be hung around the neck and will be connected using magnets to the shirt without the need for a special pole. The GO 3 camera is IPX8 waterproof which allows it to be submerged up to 16 feet while the Action Pod is IPX4 splashproof.
In Malaysia, the selling price of Insta360 GO 3 starts from RM1779 for the basic kit in 32, 64 and 128GB storage options.
