Snapchat has My AI, a chatbot that uses ChatGPT's artificial intelligence (AI) to interact with Snapchat+ customers. Now comes a report from ZDNet that says a similar feature is being tested by Instagram as well.
The existence of this test was discovered by Alessandro Paluzzi, an application developer through his Twitter page yesterday. This AI chatbot being tested has 30 different personalities that Instagram users can choose from. It can be used to chat and ask for opinions. In addition, it can also be used to help write messages and generate user creativity.
It is not known when this feature will be rolled out to everyone or just an internal test. Instagram's parent company Meta regularly conducts limited testing on their own platforms before shutting them down at a later date.
