iOS 17 and macOS Sonoma Will Throw Tracking Parameters On Clicked Links

Apple continues to protect its users from trackers, while offering more privacy and protection. Most recently, through iOS 17 and macOS Sonoma announced this week, Apple also included an interesting privacy feature, where it will remove tracking parameters from any links clicked while browsing the web.

This feature is activated when clicking on a link when using Mail, Messages and even Safari in Private Browsing mode.

With this step, it simultaneously avoids advertising firms from tracking and knowing the browsing activities of users across the web. Apple is already fighting trackers on the web, and it seems to continue through the latest version of their operating system.
