iPhone Will Soon Warn Keep Screen Distance To Reduce Eye Fatigue

Apple through iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 will later offer a special feature that ensures warning users, when using it too close to the eyes for a continuous period of time. With this step, Apple wants to ensure that users take care of their eye health and avoid tired eyes due to looking at the screen closely.

Indirectly too, Apple wants to foster a healthy style in ensuring that users keep the distance between the screen and the eyes.

This feature called Screen Distance can be activated on iOS 17, by going to the Settings > Screen Time > Screen Distance page. This feature is available on all iPhones and iPad Pros that include Face ID support – as it uses the technology to ensure the distance between the user's eyes and the screen.

For now, iOS 17 is still in beta, and is expected to be offered to all users around September or October.
