Laptops with dual screens are finally being offered to the Malaysian market today. It is the pinnacle of the dual-screen technology of the Yoga Book series that has existed since 2016. The uniqueness of the Yoga Book 9i is the dual OLED screen that when opened can be used vertically or horizontally with touch support.
The design is still the same when in the closed position. When open it can be used like a normal laptop – one screen displays content and the other screen becomes a keyboard.
This year's model is more flexible as it can also be used as a giant laptop or a dual-screen laptop in a vertical position. In the fully open position the screen is 13.3” 2.8K which supports Dolby Vision display.
It is powered by Intel Core i7-U15 chip, 16GB LPDDR5X memory, 1TB PCle SSD Gen4 storage and 80Wh battery. Because it can be used as a tablet, stylus support is also included.
The screen can be folded up to 360 degrees for use in full tablet mode. This unique laptop will use the WIndows 11 operating system. Each Yoga Book 9i comes with a cover that can be folded like origami to be where the laptop rests when opened.
A physical keyboard can then be tethered to this laptop for those who are not yet comfortable typing on a touch screen. The same cover has a built-in stylus storage. At the same time a speaker is built into the hinge similar to the one used on the Yoga C930.
Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is offered in Malaysia at a price of RM9499 each through Lenovo's official store, Lazada, and Shopee.
